will see offers at nearby busi-
nesses nearby marked with a yellow or
green ticket. Then tap on the business’
name to see what the charitable dona-
tion (such as fighting world hunger),

can receive by checking in. Simply show
your phone’s screen to the business in
question to claim your reward. If the

Your favorite social network now offers
local deals to compete with Groupon
and LivingSocial. Through this program,
you can get limited-time offers on events
such as an Austin City Limits concert
and activities such as a two-hour boat
rental. These deals are currently only
available in selected cities, which as
of press time included Atlanta, Austin,
Dallas, San Diego, and San Francisco.
